Barb
Barb has a lot of herstory in her hometown. She has been involved in the lesbian and gay community since she moved to Victoria in 1973.
Among her accomplishments is that she was one of the organizers of the very first Pride March in Victoria.
Barb recently published a book about the theatre community: Here We Go Again, An hysterical account of Canadian Theatre’s Coming of Age

Larry is a gay man in his eighties and has returned to Canada from his adventuring in the US to be closer to his children.

Dawn was Co-founder of the now defunct, Out of the Closet Renew Boutique which opened on July 2nd of 2010 in downtown Victoria, BC. She recounts her early memories of the word lesbian, coming out, gender roles and lesbian art.

Mayne is a lesbian and used to be involved with the Anglican LGBTQ group “Integrity”.
Mary Lois
Mary Lois is a retired nurse and a widowed lesbian. She and her late wife Toni were the first to apply for their same-sex marriage license in Victoria, BC
