Choose a Generational Allies Workshop
There are five Generational Allies modules to choose from. Each module is based on in depth interviews with four older adult 2SLGBQTI+ storytellers. We have listed a bit about the people and the themes they discuss on each module page to help the facilitators to prepare for their sessions. We recommend watching the videos beforehand to better prepare for discussions and to customize the session for your particular group. Although we hope that your group will work your way through the entire series, each workshop was created as a stand alone session. So you can start anywhere. Host organizations should work with the facilitators and watch the module videos to find one that would be a good fit for their group and the themes they would like to explore.
Each module includes:
- A module presentation file in .pdf format, downloadable from the individual module page.
- A series of 3 videos of different duration – The presenstation file will link to the appropriate module page on the website for screening the videos.
- A one page handout (downloadable pdf file) to be used as a follow along in the module and as a take-away for workshop participants.
