Brenda

Brenda recounts her experience in the Navy during “The Canadian War on Queers” – not just a book by Gary Kinsman and Patrizia Gentile but a big important book that reveals our little known Canadian history of wide spread discrimination of LGBTQ folk in Canadian Military and Federal Services. Brenda’s story is included in the book.

Stephen

Stephen eloquently recounts growing up in the north, his process of coming out and his part in the human rights case that solidified same-sex marriage in Yukon Territory and in Canada. Thank you Stephen both for the energy you put into changing history and for the telling of this excellent piece of LGBTQ history.
